The DYC Galley team provides catering for club activities ranging from weekly dinghy/yacht racing to social events at the clubhouse, as well as at special occasions such as the Laying Up Supper. The team is ably supported by MANY volunteers who man the sailing rota and provide additional support at major events such as Regatta Week.

Everyone on the Galley Rota will also receive a paper copy of this list showing their duties. This also includes guidance on the best way to carry out a galley duty and details of what hungry sailors like to eat!

We will continue to use the ‘Allergen Contents sheets’ as this is a legal requirement for having information available to customers, on 14 named allergens, (e.g. nuts, cereals containing gluten, eggs etc.), that may be in the food we sell.

Lesley Yeung has recently taken over from Di Cobb as Galley Team leader (thank you, Di!) and is always open to suggestions for other social / fund raising activities where the galley team can help. If anyone is interested in joining the galley team they would be most welcome.
